Uniform
Part of creating a sense of belonging and being proud to be a part of the St Michael’s school family is by wearing our uniform, it brings us all together.
We would like to emphasise that it is not required that parents have to buy branded school jumpers, cardigans, polo shirts or PE t-shirts for school unless they wish to.
We are keen to ensure all the children are looking their best in their uniform and don’t want to see coloured socks, hoodies, nail varnish, jewellery (unless one pair of stud earrings) or wristbands. Children need to have their hair tied back if it’s on their shoulders, whether boys or girls.
Winter Uniform
- Grey skirt, pinafore dress or trousers.
- White shirt or white polo shirt.
- Navy blue sweatshirt or cardigan.
- Plain tights or socks.
Summer Uniform
- Blue and white checked summer dress or grey shorts.
Shoes
- The school requires that all children wear suitable black school shoes.
**Trainers are not allowed in class and are only permitted for PE lessons.**
PE kit
Dark blue or black shorts, white t-shirt, daps or trainers in a PE bag kept in school in term time. In winter blue or black tracksuit bottoms and a sweatshirt or zip-through sweatshirt are allowed for outdoor activities.
